I can't think of a more iconic style of denim than the Levi's 501.
The design, which earned its official patent on May 20, 1873, has become a recognizable piece in both pop culture and in fashion. And, it's easy to see why. The straight fit and plethora of washes render it an easy option for many people.
While the classic 501 fit isn't the best for my shape (pear-shaped, fyi), I finally found a fit in the 501 family with the new 501 90's fit, which has a more generous cut through the hip and thighs.
