Yes to Coconut Dry Skin Head-to-toe Hydrating Balm: A quick review
What it is: An ultra-rich (and thick!) salve for dry, scratchy skin. Made with avocado and (of course!) coconut oil, this balm is 98% natural.
Beauty bonus: On elbows and cuticles, this balm is very hydrating.
Beauty bummer: It may be fall, but we still have summer sandal feet. While the balm softened skin, our heels were still on the scratchy side post-use.
Overall: We tested this as a whole body moisturizing tool in order to discover where it worked best.
As its texture is very salve-like (think body butter), for us, it seemed best used as a targeted treatment for especially scaly areas. And we were right.
On our elbows and knees, absorption was very good. Skin was smooth with little residue. On our areas such as our legs, it was a different story. While skin was still smooth post-use, the balm left a sticky feel.
Would recommend? While it works fine, it's not our favourite.
