This is my version of the 'coastal grandmother' look

 

'Coastal grandmother' has been a look this summer. And I'm bringing the relaxed-preppy trend into fall with this monochrome look. 

Popularized on TikTok, the trend sees pieces like oxford shirts, soft cashmere sweaters, maxi skirts and more styled in a low-key — yet pulled together — way. 

This outfit was my take on the trend, with a rib-knit midi dress, cashmere sweater, layered gold jewelry and a few luxe accessories. It's a look I wore during a quiet weekend close to home. One that, unfortunately, didn't involve a visit to my non-existent beach house. :P
