When it comes to dressing, this is pretty much as timeless as it gets.
An oversized blouse tucked into straight-leg jeans, paired with a great bag, is a classic combination in my sartorial books.
Plus, it's a combination that can work with any number of seasonal shoe selects. While I've styled it with simple low-heeled slides for an early summer day, it looks chic paired with sneakers, ankle books, heels to dress things up — and even loafers for everyday. (Trust me, I've worn them all!)
I can honestly say I own a dozen blouses, along with several (OK, probably also a dozen) pairs of jeans, that I can rotate through for a number of different colour variations on this combination.
It's perfect for popping on during a day when I don't have time (or interest) to pull something together, but I still want to look polished.
