Overall: We like to mix up our skin finish, so this mattifying primer is a nice addition.
The illuminating quality was subtle and pretty — just enough to give skin a bit more dimension. We put this product over our sunscreen and found it didn’t pill or bunch (yay!) and really did feel weightless.
We didn’t find a huge blurring effect, but the fact that foundation didn’t collect in fine lines throughout the day at all made up for that. The finish, as mentioned above, isn't dewy but rather provides a subtle radiance that's a nice subtle glow.
