Quo Matte Revolution Foundation: A quick review

Quo Matte Revolution Foundation: A quick review

What it is: A liquid full-coverage foundation that leaves skin with an HD soft focus finish. Free of mineral oils and parabens.

Beauty bonus: This foundation gave us a pretty glow. One we weren't expecting without having to add any shimmer primer.

Beauty bummer: Too much of this good thing is, well just that. Too much. We made the mistake of pumping too much product onto our beauty blender and were left with an undesirable finish.

Overall: While we love the idea of a flawless complexion, we're not huge fans of full coverage foundation because it's hard to find one that doesn't leave you looking like you're covered in Bond-o — or a greasy mess at the end of the day.

With a metered application and a good lightweight moisturizer before hand, we found this to be a full-coverage foundation that wore surprisingly lightly on skin.

The 2-in-1 foundation and concealer formula was surprisingly good, covering all imperfections and areas of uneven skintone with one pump of prouct (we did apply a cream concealer to under eyes for an added brightening effect).

At the end of the day, skin didn't feel too greasy — even without a re-application of translucent powder throughout the day!

Would recommend? Yes! If you're looking for a full-coverage foundation that also nixes the need for a separate concealer, this is it.
