As I'm sure you've already guessed, these photos weren't taken in Vancouver.
I shot this look during the final day of my recent Southern California trip — which, of course, included a quick trip to Los Angeles.
Having grown up predominately in SoCal (I lived in Orange County from preschool through middle school, and San Diego for university), I've always felt a special connection to the state. But, since moving to Vancouver, I haven't felt the pull to return quite as strong as I did during my last visit.
It may sound odd, but this time, it just felt like ... well, home.
Maybe it was just a pull of nostalgia, the pretty palm trees — or it could have just been the delicious break the trip afforded me from the daily grind.
I mean, I KNOW I'm not the only one that feels like their day goes from 0-60 about 30 seconds after waking up each day.
