From the French brand Sézane, this Gabin Bag is the perfect tote to carry all of your essentials — and then some.
I recently took this tote with me on a trip from Vancouver to Montreal to Nice, France and back. I used it as my personal item on my flights and, let me just say, it left me very impressed.
Made in Spain using a sturdy-yet-soft suede leather, the roomy tote can easily fit a laptop computer, charging cables, an agenda, an airline-compliant amount of liquids, snacks, a spare handbag, sunglasses ... the list goes on. I literally packed all of those things and more into this bag during my trip.
One of my favourite design features of this bag are the straps. The oversized tote features longer shoulder straps and two shorter straps for handheld carrying. I found the strap lengths were perfect for securing the bag on top of my carryon suitcase. No annoying flipping around the suitcase with this tote bag!
Available in a few colours, I'm partial to this buttery camel shade. I sprayed it with a suede protector before the first use and found it really helped to keep this chic tote bag looking like new — even after 12-plus hours of flying, going in the overhead bin, under the seat, etc.
Safe to say I'll be reaching for this tote bag again ahead of my next trip.
