Hermès Poudre d'Orfevre: A quick review

What it is: A limited-edition highlighting powder from Hermès that features "golden mother-of-pearl" pigments and a "melting texture."

Beauty bonus: The super-fine metallic particles makes for an ultra-pretty finish.

Beauty bummer: I've heard the numbers are quite limited for this pressed powder release. So, if you're looking to snag one — I wouldn't wait.

Overall: An expansion of the Hermès Beauty offering, this haute holiday release is guaranteed to add a subtle glow to your skin.

Encased in a compact designed by Pierre Hardy and featuring the brand's ex-libris signature embossed on its face, this compact is chic and elegant — and that's without even trying the pressed powder inside!

We found the product provided  a nice golden shimmer to skin that was neither too light nor too sparkly. In fact, it was pretty perfect. Applied to the high points of the face, as well as on the eyelids, the effect was an effortless, lit-from-within glow.

Would recommend? Yes!
