ICYMI, cool-girl California brand @reformation has relaunched its shoe collection.
The company recently debuted a curated selection of footwear finds, including flat sandals, heeled sandals, espadrilles and more, focuses on heightened sustainability.
The designs in the relaunched collection highlight three main focus areas for the company: traceable leather, reducing use of virgin plastics, and an end of life plan that sees all the shoes from the Ref Shoes 2.0 release fully recyclable through Looptworks.
As someone who has struggled to find ways to recycle and reuse shoes that aren't from a retailer with a designated take-back program — I applaud this move wholeheartedly.
I love that brands are really thinking about where their products end up after they've been worn and loved. It's an essential step to ensuring we close the loop (as best we can) in the fashion industry.
And, of course, it helps when the shoes are super chic, as is the case with this Ref launch. ;)
