Replica Maison Margiela Bubble Bath Eau de Toilette: A quick review

What it is: A fresh scent from the oh-so covetable Replica Maison Margiela fragrance collection

The lineup of scents is said to be inspired by specific places and points in time.

This specific scent's "Provenance and Period" is Beverly Hills, circa 2005.

Beauty bonus: The rose notes in this fragrance are an absolute delight.

Beauty bummer: Those who were after a super soap scent may be disappointed.

Overall: Said to be inspired by the "warmth and relaxation of a hot bath," this eau de toilette is billed as boasting "comforting clean accords."

The fragrance includes notes of soap bubble accord, rose "superessence", white musk and coconut milk accord. The unisex scent is categorized as a "fresh floral."

Admittedly a bit wary of the soap angle, we were pleasantly surprised by this scent. The rose notes (a personal favourite) came through quite prominently, serving to make this eau de toilette more flowery than foamy bath water.

Wearing lightly on the skin, we found it to be a unique fragrance that left an impression. Safe to say, it's made it into the regular fragrance rotation!

Would recommend? Yes.
