Would you wear a plaid pantsuit?
It's a question I'd asked myself several times after seeing the checked styles popping up on fashion feeds and influencer accounts this past fall.
But, up until I spotted this chic plaid pantsuit at Le Chateau recently, I found myself continually answering with 'nope.' The looks I saw others wearing, in my opinion, always looked too ... not me.
While I loved the idea of a rocker tee worn under an open plaid suit and sneakers for a casually undone vibe, I knew I wouldn't like that look on me. Instead, I decided to pair the suit with sleek accessories -- and little else. Despite being more provocative than I would typically dress, I felt sleek and stylish in this ensemble.
Now I just need somewhere fabulous to wear it.
