What it is: A haircare line from the beauty brand Kérastase that features shampoo, conditioner, a mask and more — all targeting various levels of dry hair and restoring nutrition.
Beauty bonus: Whose hair couldn't use a decent dose of moisture and vitamins?
Beauty bummer: We wish they'd add a few styling products (ehem, like an oil or serum) to this line.
Overall: This line aims to provide hair with "long-lasting nutrition" rather than one mega dose of moisture.
The products target both the cause of nutrition loss in hair, said to be oxidation, to target the dryness of strands. What's perhaps most unique about the Nutritive range, is that it is broken down into categories based on need — beyond fine/course and curly/straight categories.
Five levels of hydration/nutrition are provided ranging from slightly dry to severely dried out. While we tried the lightest level, we'd be curious to go all the way with the more intensive options. After all, who couldn't use a little extra help when it comes to smoothing frizz and adding softness?
As with all Kérastase products, we found this range boasted a beautiful scent and left hair feeling better, overall, than it did before.
