I've always had a love-hate relationship with light-coloured denim. Why?
While the brighter blue washes feel so on-trend, not to mention perfect for the summer season, I often find they are less flattering than a darker wash. And, add in distressing, and I'm extra skeptical.
But, as soon as I tried these Mother Premium jeans on during a recent visit to Aimee B. Boutique in Fort Langley, I knew it was time I gave a lighter, distressed wash another try.
And, you know what? I'm so glad I did, because I pretty much haven't taken them off since.
While I likely won't be rocking these with short tops anytime soon, when worn with a blazer or duster kimono, I find they are extremely stylish — and figure flattering. Win-win!
