Nude by Nature cosmetics: A quick review

Nude by Nature cosmetics: A quick review

What it is: A natural beauty brand hailing from Australia, this new-to-Canada company promises to provide performing beauty products, without any harsh chemicals or dangerous additives.

Beauty bonus: The rose-gold packaging feels very luxe!

Beauty bummer: We found the staying power of a few of the products to be a bit lacking.

Overall: We weren't familiar with Nude by Nature before its recent arrival in Canada at Shoppers Drug Mart.

But, safe to say, we are very familiar with it now.

Three immediate standouts from this line were the Radiant Loose Powder Foundation, the Highlighting Palette and the Perfecting Concealer. Since we first tried them, they've become our everyday go-tos in their respective product categories.

The loose foundation gives skin a soft-matte finish and does a pretty good job of smoothing things over (if you now what we mean). The creamy concealer is perhaps the best we've tried (seriously!) thanks to its concealing, hydrating and brightening properties. If you're a makeup minimalist, this could be the only product you need for spot touchups!

Last but not least, the highlighting palette offers three hues — a bronzer, a pink shimmer and a vanilla shimmer — to lighten and brighten skin. It's soft and not too shimmery and wears well throughout the day.

Would recommend? Yes! It's definitely worth trying products from the line — especially the concealer and powder foundation.
Price: From $28
