While I'm well aware I've literally piled on the trends with this look — hoodie, velvet, trench coat, to name a few — I think it all works fairly well together.
I'm still digging the full-on athleisure vibe that continues to dominate the fashion scene.
But while I'm not one to wear leggings much beyond lounging and the gym, I like the idea of introducing sport-inspired pieces into my day-to-day looks.
This oversized Champion hoodie adds a dose of street appeal to an otherwise high-fashion plaid trench coat and pair of velvet heeled boots. Paired with well-worn Levi's, the overall effect is high school track meets, well, something far more chic. ;)
