Bronze Age

A few months ago, I was absentmindedly scrolling through my Instagram feed when I stopped.

What picqued my interest? Well ...

It was a great pair of shoes — obviously. (Come on, you knew it was going to be shoes or a handbag!)

The fancy footwear that stopped my scroll was an amazing pair of slip-on, pointed-toe shoes in a buttery soft suede. As I lurked the brand's feed, I spotted style after style that I was instantly coveting.

So, imagine my surprise when I discovered the designers were two lovely ladies from Vancouver who had gone out on a limb to start their new footwear project, dubbed A Bronze Age.

When I met up with them to do an interview for The Vancouver Sun (read it here!), I promptly purchased my own pair of babouches. And I have been wearing them ever since.

See? Some good things really do come out of creeping Instagram. ;)
