Bold basics

There's something so chic yet nonchalant about wide-leg trousers.

But to be honest, it may be the fact that they're as comfortable as pj pants yet look presentable and pulled together that fuels my fond feelings toward them. #realtalk

Whatever the reasoning behind my affinity for these loose trousers, I'm sure I will be wearing these made-in-Canada beauties a bunch this spring.

I've found that my outfit rotation has become increasingly pared down in recent months. I feel like I'm truly beginning to define my personal style. But that hasn't quite stopped me from lusting after a few of the season's hottest 'It' items.

What I'm trying to say is ... while I'm wearing the same five outfits week in and week out, I'm still looking to covet and acquire pretty much everything that's new in stores. It's a bit of a problem.

So, don't be surprised if you see a cool suede moto jacket pop up on my blog or social feeds in the coming months (this post should have been warning enough that my coveting stage was nearing the acquisition phase!). At this point, it's pretty much inevitable.

Happy Wednesday and thank you for stopping by.
