A little late

We'll file this one away under the better late than never category. Or else we can blame it on Canada's notorious snail mail — but either way, here's our review of the January Birchbox selections.

Overall: As stated above, our January box arrived a tad late (read: in Feb.)

But the arrival of the pretty pink box was enough for us to forget about the delay.

We found this month's samples were a tad tiny — except for the Fave4 Texture Takeover spray, which was sizeable — but the products themselves were pretty great.

The texturizing spray was one of our faves of the month ... we especially loved how it could be applied to wet or dry hair. Bonus!

The Dinoplatz highlighter (currently sold out!) was another top pick. One small drop gave skin a golden glow that had our skin looking more fresh and healthy than ever. Hello, strobing!

And you can never go wrong with a good face mask. #amIright?
