Midi skirts + turtlenecks

Vince turtleneck sweater and Oak and Fort midi pencil skirt

If there's one thing you can say about me, it's that I'm a creature of habit.

With everything—from the clothes I wear, to the foods that I eat—I am all about routine.

Maybe I find the repetition comforting because I moved around a lot when I was growing up, or maybe I'm just a little bit lazy when it comes to planning things like day-to-day outfits and meals—but for whatever reason, I love consistency.

Take this outfit as an example.

It's no secret that I have been loving turtleneck sweaters lately (see evidence of this here and here!), but I've also been coveting ... and acquiring midi-length pencil skirts.

I find them such chic—and work-appropriate—alternatives to trousers. And I somehow feel a bit more pulled together when I wear them.

So, as long as subtle variations continue to satiate my sartorial desires,  I will be wearing them on repeat.

Happy Wednesday and thank you for stopping by!
