I originally purchased this J.Crew houndstooth sweater sight unseen to go with my favourite Tibi skirt. But when I tried the two pieces on together -- the look was all wrong.
Determined to find the perfect blouse to pair with it instead, I picked up this flannel from Forever 21 during a recent trip to New York City. (Again, buying without trying the two together to see if they would work -- I guess I'll never learn.)
Thankfully, they seem to mix and mingle, and have allowed me to successfully pull off the pattern mixing trend I've been wanting to try for quite some time.
