Faux fur, punk rock and pattern mixing were all hot trends highlighted at a recent Holt Renfrew fall preview I attended in Vancouver.
But the one trend that had me rushing home to my closet (OK, and maybe to the racks, too) was the black-white-red combination.
I absolutely adore a delicious red piece but am always wary of which colours to pair it with. Go too far into the red and white trend and you look a little Santa-esque, and conversely, going too heavy on the black and red pairing can read a little costume-y (Think: Hot Topic).
That's why this trifecta trend is such a no-brainer.
Virtually every woman has a black, red and white go-to piece in their closet -- so it's only a matter of combining them all together and voilà ... instant street style status solidified.
(Sigh, if only it were that easy.)
