It-girl Gigi Hadid has created a collection telling the story of her fab bi-coastal life.
Beauty bonus: The liquid eye liner is the stand out for us, offering good pigment and almost no skipping on application — even over heavy eye shadow.
Beauty bummer: The gel liner is very soft and smooth to apply, but we found it a bit smudgy when we weren’t necessarily going for that look.
Overall: We were surprised by the packaging colour choice, it’s very reminiscent of a few other brand collections right now (hello, kkw and Fenty Beauty). But, exterior similarities aside, we were pleased with this release.
The collection is split into two looks: East Coast Glam and West Coast Glow, inspired by Hadid's whirlwind LA/New York lifestyle.
We liked the liquid highlighter, finding it felt a bit more exclusive than the standard powder. The lip colours were pretty and very matte (read: oh-so on trend!) when applied.
Our only complaint? The fibre mascara. which was a skip for us. But, admittedly, we have tried multiple iteration of fibre mascara, and just don’t like how any of them apply.
