Kerastase Aura Botanica collection: A quick review

Kerastase Aura Botanica collection: A quick review

What it is: A haircare line with 96-percent naturally derived formulations with no added silicones or sulfates. Includes a shampoo, conditioner, oil essence and oil concentrate.

Beauty bonus: The moisturizing oil mist was very nice, leaving fine hair feeling silky without being weighed down.

Beauty bummer: The shampoo was very mild, which we loved, but it left our locks feeling a bit dry.

Overall: While we've been big fans of pretty much all the Kerastase products we've tried, we hadn't quite found a perfect fit with Kerastase for fine hair — that is, until this line.

Our stand out of this collection? Surprisingly, the Oil Essence D'èclate mist, which was an absolute winner. While it sounds like it wouldn't translate (an oil essence? Say what?) we found that even use on fine hair yielded good results. Hair was light, shiny and fly-away free.

Would recommend: Yes! We loved this line start to finish.
Price: $45 (shampoo) to $60 (Oil Concentre Essentiel)
