I've been really into monochrome looks lately.

But it's not just because I like the appeal of a tone-on-tone ensemble ...

It's because it's so easy to get dressed when you're wearing all one colour. I'm becoming convinced this is why we all wear so much black!

Well, that reason, and because it's always chic and slimming. ;)

I went for blue hues for this look, which ended up being a perfect post for the Humpday slump (Ha!).

But the caveat when wearing a monochrome look — in my esteemed opinion, at least — is to add on eye-catching accessories to add extra interest.

Case in point: these amazing Bordeaux loafers and a vintage YSL bag.

It's a look I will surely be repeating in the coming months!
