Makeup Monday: The Body Shop 2-in-1 Smoky Gel Liner — A quick review

The Body Shop 2-in-1 Smoky Gel Liner — A quick review

In an attempt to better organize my Covet & Acquire editorial schedule, I have decided that Mondays will now be for makeup review.

Not only was the idea of "Makeup Monday" too good to resist because of my love of alliteration, I think dull and dreary Mondays are the perfect day to think about exciting — and often affordable — makeup finds.

So, without further ado, here is my first Makeup Monday post featuring The Body Shop 2-in-1 Smoky Gel Liner.

What is it: A gel liner that doubles as a brow definer. Enriched with Community Fair Trade Marula Oil, this liner will last with you all day long without budging.

Beauty bonus: The cute brush is integrated into the packaging making it an easy addition to our makeup bags.

Beauty bummer: Using the small brush for applying a gel liner takes a bit of practice.

Overall: This liner hit most of our marks for being a beauty booty win.

While one sweep is quite saturated, it needs a few coats for a true, jet black line. While build-able colour is is often an automatic fail in our beauty books, this liner's smooth consistency and fluid application makes us think twice about giving it a bad mark.

It did not flake throughout the day, leaving us with a fresh look even after all was said and done.

Would recommend: Yes.
Available at: The Body Shop
Price: $15
