ARTDECO Bronzing powder compact Jungle Fever Bronzing Collection in "Tan fever #08": A quick review

ARTDECO Bronzing powder compact Jungle Fever Bronzing Collection in "Tan fever #08": A quick review

What it is: A limited-edition, bronzing powder from the new(ish)-in-Canada brand ARTDECO (it launched here last June!) new summer Jungle Fever Bronzing Collection.

The oversized pressed powder promises to deliver a natural-looking, sun-kissed complexion, while pea and Inca oil extracts help to keep skin hydrated and regenerate collagen. This product is paraben, fragrance, lanolin and mineral oil free.

Beauty bonus: This bronzer skips the heavy shimmer component of many of its counterparts, creating a more subtle, matte effect. Extra bonus: This bronzer contains SPF 15!

Beauty bummer: As with any bronzer, i applied too heavily a not-so-attractive over-baked look is the result.

Overall: This bronzer is a nice departure from the usual bronzing powder product pack.

We loved how it allows for all over-application, giving a healthy, natural colour — or for use as a contouring tool. The lack of shimmer makes this product a must-try for the glitter shy.
