Do gooder: Aritzia's Cause We Care x La Notte T-shirt

I love a good cause, and to me, there's none greater than one that supports women and children. 

That's why when the team behind this year's Cause We Care charity campaign, which benefits single mothers living in poverty in the Lower Mainland, asked me to help raise awareness for the second year in a row — it was a no brainer to join back in. 

The fact that the 2014 La Notte x Cause We Care T-shirt available at Aritzia happens to have a mare and foal on it — which is a part of a special Mother's Day initiative celebrating moms — is just an added bonus for me. I enlisted the help of my pony Peanut for an impromptu photo shoot in the hopes the images would help this charity's special message be received a little further and wider.

Other activities and items included in this year's campaign include a Hamper Drive, Blue Ruby handcrafted bracelets (pictured below) and Coif it up for a Cause at Halo Salon.
