Party (dress) central: ModCloth Sorbet Okay! dress and Lacoste blazer

ModCloth Sorbet Okay! Dress
Party dresses may be a dime a dozen, but a fun frock that can go from the office to several soirees can be a lot more difficult to find.
Enter A-line dresses.
I love the way this shape can be layered over a collared blouse for a chic, office-ready look, and stripped down for the evening. Not to mention the oh-so forgiving cut for those of us who have a bit of junk in the ... er, trunk.

I love how you styled this! The lace collar and the necklace are perfect!! I actually ended up getting the same dress. Just had it tailored because I'm short and it fit a little weird at first, but now it's perfect and I'm thinking of wearing it to Thanksgiving dinner.
