L'Oréal Professionnel Absolut Repair Cellular Serum: A quick review

L'Oréal Professionnel Absolut Repair Cellular Serum review
What it is: A split end serum that is infused with Unifibrine, an advanced complex of smoothing polymers. When applied, the polymers instantly attract to more damaged areas, helping to smooth and unify the hair's overall texture and surface.

Beauty bonus: This product felt lightweight when tested on both fine and course-textured tresses. It also worked well -- with only a small amount -- on wet and dry hair.

Beauty bummer: The serum is a little pricey -- but worth the splurge if you want something that works.

Overall: The Absolut Repair Cellular Serum absorbs quickly into strands, leaving hairs soft and with fewer fly-aways. Don't let past experiences with sticky serums leave you stuck thinking serums aren't for you. Besides, this potion is really more like an oil in viscosity.

While it may not completely eliminate 100 percent of split ends (really, only a trim will do that), it definitely makes hair more sleek, shiny and frizz-free.

Would I recommend? Yes. If you have frizz-prone hair but fear the weight of regular serums, this lightweight hybrid will have you looking sleek sans the grease.

Price: Approximately $22
