It was with an air of desperation that I created this outfit. Why? Because, while I hate to admit it, both the leather peplum and the white skirt were purchased using the thought process of, "If I don't have that I will absolutely DIE ..."
I guess you could call them impulse buys.
When I got them home, I couldn't help but realize they weren't a great fit for me at all. The edgy peplum is a little too short and not quite peplum-y enough, and the white skirt is so poofy it makes me look more marshmallow than model.
Hence the desperate struggle to find each piece an appropriate mate so that I may get the requisite dozen wears out of an item so as to deem it "worth it."
