Maybelline Color Tattoo Pure Pigments: A quick review

Maybelline Color Tattoo Pure Pigments in Wild Gold

What it is: A collection of loose eyeshadow pigments that pack a powerful punch of colour.

Beauty bonus: These little paint pots offer beauty counter-worthy results at drugstore prices.

Beauty bummer: While the loose powders provided a pop of colour with only a few brush strokes, a cream base was necessary to achieve a truly saturated tone.

Overall: With a budget-friendly price tag and a super easy application process, these eyeshadows are a great entry level pigment. I tried the shades 'Never Fade Jade' (a true teal) and 'Wild Gold' (a bold, 24-karat colour) and was blown away with the smooth shades these pigments produced. While the teal was a tad soft when worn alone, the gold looked divine both with and without a cream base -- Don't be fooled by the bold yellow hue, it's a definite must-try shade from this collection.
The shadows stayed put throughout the day and were easy to wash off - leaving no leftover stain.

Would recommend: Yes

Price: Approximately $8

Available at : Drugstores nationwide
