Seeing as today's my birthday, I figured it would be completely acceptable for me to single out one of my personal favourites for this week's Lust List.
Leopard sandals (and shoes, for that matter) are a great way to bring a little added attitude to any outfit. They are neutral enough to go with most colours and are purr-fect (sorry!) for packing on trips or your daily commute.
Take a look at a few styles that caught my wandering eye this week.
Sam Edelman Sutton sandals - $125.94
These sandals are super fun and functional. The leopard accent, nude leather and gold toe are stylish enough for day or night, and the low wedge makes them especially foot-friendly.
I detest the fact that certain sandals are referred to as 'thongs' but my aversion wasn't strong enough to keep me from mentioning these bold-yet basic gladiators. And the less than $20 price makes them twice as nice.
Similar to the Sutton above, these Italian-made sandals are as comfortable as they are cute - and are a definite must-have for me. (Big birthday gift hint :P)
Just when you thought it couldn't get any cheaper than the Forever 21 pair above -- check out these little babes. A rock-solid style and a muted leopard print make these sandals a summer staple. Not sold on the look from this pic alone? Google them and you'll change your mind.
Valentino shoes are everywhere. Kick the typical Rockstud trend by stepping out in these leopard beauties. Be warned: Prepare to get noticed because these aren't your average blogger shoe.
Zara Ankle Boot Sandal - $99.90
These sandals may be as close to perfection as you could possible get. The lattice-work lace-ups add interest, while the sky-high heel and bootie silhouette are sure to up your street style-star status.
Silk tank: Joe Fresh
Flats: Tory Burch Reva
Necklace: Tiffany & Co. Ziegfeld Collection
I'm tired of talking about the rain, thinking about the rain, walking in the rain, and most of all - dressing for the rain.
My days of clunky boots and hooded jackets are over (for this year, at least). Do you hear me, Mother Nature?
Blazer: Helmut Lang Gala Knit blazer
Bag: Chanel GST
Booties: Rosegold 'Bevin' bootie
Necklaces: Tiffany & Co.
Made of a stretchy knit, it wears like a favourite sweatshirt but boasts the classic crispness of a Helmut Lang cut.
At the risk of sounding like a salesperson, I'd say it's a definite must have.
John Frieda Root Awakening
What it is: A line of haircare products including shampoo, conditioner and leave-in spray that work to boost locks by revitalizing the scalp.
Beauty bonus: This line works like a salon brand without the salon price.
Beauty bummer: I was lucky enough to have a professional blowout done at Blo Blow Dry Bar in Vancouver using the Root Awakening line, which yielded unbelievable results -- But at home, my somewhat uncoordinated blow-drying technique couldn't achieve the same results.
Who doesn't love a blowout? Getting the perfect 'do at Blo Blow Dry Bar in the Four Seasons Hotel in Vancouver.
Overall: As someone with thick hair that often falls flat, I was overjoyed to try a line of products that work to enhance hair's health from the scalp, add unbelievable volume and are marketed to more than just those who have fine hair.
The shampoo and conditioner are rich and creamy with a pleasant scent, while the leave-in spray's long nozzle make it easy to apply directly to your hair -- instead of all over your bathroom floor.
Using a large round brush, I dried my hair in sections and sealed the style with a smoothing cream and a coat of hair spray.
My style lasted for a day or two longer than usual, with a noticeable amount of volume.
Would recommend? YES!
Price: Approx. $6.50 CAD
Available at: Beauty drugstores everywhere
Linen shirt: Zara
Necklace: J.Crew (c/o)
Some shoes, shirts or skirts -- or in this case skorts -- can make you feel like a different person.
Weird as that may sound, when I put together this all-white outfit and rhinestone bib, I felt a little more like a fearless fashionista than usual.

After speaking with the project's mastermind and Holt Renfrew director of brand strategy Alexandra Weston during opening day (read the interview here), I was quick to scope a few of the amazing finds available in the new in-store shop.
Take a look.

Decomposition Book by Michael Roger (only $8!)
A lovely LemLem frock

Harem pants: Forever 21
Aviators: Material Girl (LOVE these)
Bag: Celine Mini Luggage Tote
It's not my fault -- I feel it's perfectly acceptable for me to blame this new-found habit on the Vancouver weather.
The Nordstrom Half Yearly Sale for women and kids, otherwise known as one of my favourite shopping events of the year, is on now.
In order to celebrate the momentous occasion, I've scoured the sale items (selflessly, of course) in order to find my five favourite pieces of the sale.
Take a look:
Smythe Metallic Coated Linen Blazer
Was $650 - Now $389.98
You literally can NOT go wrong when buying something Smythe. I've had my eye on this cool metallic number for a while as its perfect cut and eye-catching fabric make it on-trend, yet timeless.
Man Repeller X PJK 'Flynn' Silk Moto Vest
Was $289 - Now $178
This silk moto vest can do no wrong in my books. Not only is it designed by one of the blogging queen Bs, but its light weight makes it the perfect topper for spring and summer.
Sam Edelman 'Serena' Sandal
Was $139.95 - Now $93.76
As someone who already owns these sexy sandals in beige, I can vouch for their cute and comfort levels.
Alexis Bittar Skinny Tapered Bangle
Was $65 - Now $38.98
These bangles are a no-brainer. They're sleek, stackable and always in style -- I can guarantee you won't regret buying an armful of these candy-coloured bangles.
Caslon Racerback Jersey Maxi Dress
Was $68 - Now $40.80
Whether you're going to wear this paired with a denim jacket, silk vest (ahem, see above) or alone, this versatile maxi will carry you through this summer ... and beyond.
