I'm a sucker for soft fabrics, so when I saw this uber-cool Lyocell shirt at Zara I knew it had to be mine.
For those who aren't familiar with this fabric, it is one of the most eco-friendly, naturally regenerating fibres currently being used in the textile industry. More expensive to produce than cotton and rayon, it is made from dissolved, bleached wood pulp and is sometimes referred to as Tencel. (Thank you, Wikipedia).
Although it is prone to wrinkles, Lyocell is easy to care for and is less fragile than silk. In short, I love it.
