I have been sitting on this dress (not literally!) since I purchased it during a trip to England in 2010.
Now that bold, vertical stripes are en vogue, I can't wait to put it to work.
Dress (Primark old, but love this one and this one) bag (Chanel French Riviera flap bag), pumps (The Bay), bracelets (The Bay and Chanel)
Seriously stacked bracelets are having a big fashion moment. On blogs, in magazines and spotted on the hottest celebrities, if there's one accessories trend to try, it may just be this one.
But sometimes, getting the right pieces together to create that perfect layered style can be harder than it looks.
If you're feeling a little lost, take a look at this step-by-step guide to help get you stylishly stacked.
Let's get started.
Start off with a statement cuff or bangle.
Then, shift shapes with something irregular such as a chain, twisted bangle or -- in this case -- a hinged Vita Fede Titan bracelet.
Because my first piece was silver toned and the remainder of my pieces are going to be gold, I chose to break them up with a bi-coloured piece.
Continuity, or at least an easy transition piece, can be key to creating the perfect stack.
Next, go for a piece that is slimmer than the others you've used so far. The change in size keeps the stack from looking like a prison shackle, while also allowing for a bigger piece to come next.
No arm candy can be complete without a leather wrap bracelet, and this black and gold Salvatore Ferragamo is made extra special by the delicate bow.
Leaving the leather cuff last can create a harsh cutoff at your wrist, so I chose to finish the stack with a slim statement bracelet in a bright gold for a final feminine touch.
Hope this helps ... and Happy Stacking!
Clinique Moisture Surge Overnight Mask
What it is: A creamy, moisturizing night mask that works overnight to replenish hydration lost during daily activities and skin cleansing.
Beauty bonus: This oil-free lotion can easily be added to the end of your nightly beauty routine -- no changes to your existing regime required. Also, the easy to squeeze tube makes for a mess-free (and hygienic!) alternative to traditional moisturizer pots.
Beauty bummer: While the medium-weight lotion was great for my oil-prone skin, it may be too light for those in need of some serious moisture.
Overall: As someone who has oily, acne-prone skin, I would be lying if I said I wasn't nervous about trying a moisture mask. But, feeling somewhat brave (and tired of my dry winter skin) I decided to set aside my fears of waking up with gigantic zits and applied a dime-sized amount of the mask to my face -- concentrating on my forehead and cheeks.
In the morning I was pleasantly surprised to find my skin smooth, moisturized and free of any additional blemishes. The moisture-rich, scent-free cream left my skin feeling hydrated, happy and not at all oily. Mission accomplished.

Revlon Grow Luscious by Fabulash mascara
What it is: A mascara that boosts volume and strengthens lashes with each application.
Beauty bonus: The promise of thicker, more voluminous lashes is too good to pass up. Plus, the applicator wand is AMAZING! Ophthalmologist tested. Washes off easily with soap and water.
Beauty bummer: If you're expecting to wake up with Kim Kardashian-esque lashes after a month of using this mascara -- you're in for a disappointment.
Overall: Does this mascara provide falsie-like lashes without the, ehem, false lashes? No. But it does do a good job of trying. The mascara comes out of the tube without clumps and applies easily. The applicator brush is one of the best I've encountered with a broad cluster of bristles that work to get as many lashes as possible during application. After two coats lashes appear prominent and more full. Doesn't leave lashes crispy and doesn't flake off.
After nearly a month of use my lashes didn't appear much longer, but they definitely felt more voluminous.

I love looks that feature super saturated colours.
Pairing coral and red makes an undoubtedly bold statement, but matching or neutral accessories work to keep the outgoing message at a satisfying hum rather than an overwhelming roar.
The continuing leather trend on the runways is having a wonderful trickle-down effect for those of us shopping at the high street stores.
Skins in every colour are available at almost any price for those looking to jump on the bandwagon.
Jacket, shirt and shoes (Zara), jeans (Forever 21), sunglasses (Aldo, old. Similar here) handbag (Louis Vuitton Speedy 30)
A failsafe look such as a maxi dress and cropped jacket, coupled with a comfy-chic gladiator sandal and a timeless carryall is a solid foundation for travel to almost any destination.
